Mississippi Gulf Coast Corvette Club will be bringing a Mini-Mardi-Grad Parade to our senior citizens in assisted living homes. The concept is to bring a little Mardi-Gras love to those that just can’t make it out the parades anymore. I thought you might want to do a human-interest type of story on this. Objective: This activity involves many beautiful Corvette from the club slowly driving up through the Assisted Living Center’sront circle drives and stopping. We are hoping for a warm/sunny day where the residents can be out on their front porch watching the corvettes as they arrive. Then the Corvette drivers will get out of their cars to gently give beads and other mardi-gras trinkets to the residence and staff in front of the Living Center. The residents are also encouraged to come out and admire the beautiful cars, and take pictures if they like. The Plan:· – Meet at El Saltillo’s Mexican Restaurant @ 920 Cedar Lake Rd, Biloxi at 2pm on Thursday 4 Feb.· – Club departs El Saltillo’s at 2:15pmo – Club arrives at Residence At Bay Cove @ 680 Bay Cove Drive, Biloxi at ~2:30pmo – Club departs at Residence At Bay Cove at ~3:30pmo – Club arrives at LeMoyne Assisted Living Center @ 14306 LeMoyne Blvd, Biloxi at ~3:45pm· – Club departs LeMoyne Assisted Living Center at ~4:45pm
